so had the OTA update for my g3 D885 and the first one gave me UI errors so used the lg flash tool to get me back to V10E software using the kdz file a few of the OTA updates later and i am on V10L all good so far i then apply the OTA V20E for lollipop again all installs fine and no UI...

the lollipop was an OTA update but before that i rooted and then unrooted a few days back using the lg flash tool and a kdz file to match my network and all has been fine since today after doing the OTA update i am very new to this can you advise what the MD5 or SHA1 is many thanks Baz

finally got the lollipop update but once it was done i get System UIDs Inconsistent with a i feel lucky button seems to turn the phone crazy and nout works even after re booting it twice (i am trying a factory re start at moment but has anyone else had this and know what causes this cheers baz

on mine i had to put a * (star) on APN TYPE how it helps

thanks for the reply its a strange way of doing it not like apple release an update to the word and all fight when it takes 2 days to download it and sort any bugs when they can be bothered lol i was an apple user for 5 years upto 2 months ago and i am shocked on how far apple are behind...

thank you for your reply i did what you said and used the wrong file i worked out my mistake yesterday and also used the kdz method and re flashed with the correct one i hate being a noob but you gotta start somewhere and i do like to tinker and tweek lol

how are the updates rolled out as i have one on three and one on o2 and nether have gave me the Lollipop update yet i even tried via the pc suite and still says i am on the latest version and manual check via the phone once a day i am new to android so still on a learning curve my three one...

i have a uk three lg g3 d885 16gb i rooted this to remove the three boot logo (this worked fine) but decided to unroot this evening so i used the lg flash tool i downloaded the the dll files and tot file and all went fine but rebooting and back into the phone i have tons off strange apps...

i have a UK version of the LG G3 and it has a strange issue as i power it off just as its about to turn off i get a blast of sound of the notification sound for about 2 seconds if i change the sound it just changes it when i power off i did a factory fresh start and installed the apps myself...
