I have been searching for months for a solution.

So I have all my files downloaded on my PC on a drive they're in folders that I've spent years putting together I know that Google photos does a great job of uploading and backing up but it doesn't do folders. How would I be able to download to my PC and retain folders to then upload to Google...

But this would require you save to OC first then use G photos as a backup right? What about the issue where you have multiple phones taking photos in the family. Essentially I would need to download to the PC and let Google sync from there.
