This was HTC's suggestion... "If you have not already done so, remove the battery and gently wipe off the metal terminals on the phone and the battery using a clean, dry cotton cloth." It did nothing.

My Evo Shift hasn't fully charged since last summer. I got a replacement battery in early March and that battery became one with the HTC battery. It charges only as much as the HTC. Today I noticed that the screen fades into life, and that hours of charging still remains as a drained battery. I...

My phone needed to be charged (light was red), but after 7 hours it was only at maybe 60%. What's happening? :confused:

It would be GREAT to have something that wasn't an iPad.

I've heard the Evo Shift won't get Gingerbread, that it can't run it. Is that true? If so, is it not worth getting without the 2.3 OS? Sorry if already asked elsewhere on the forum. Thanks.
