Can't figure out how to fix "Unfortunately, Settings Has Stopped Working"

No, we haven't. She was on a trip for a couple of days.

Can't figure out how to fix "Unfortunately, Settings Has Stopped Working"

I looked into that, but they don't have 4.4.x available for download that I can find, and from what I gather, you can't flash an older ROM with the newer bootloaders. If I could somehow flash 4.1.x, I could OTA update from there.

Can't figure out how to fix "Unfortunately, Settings Has Stopped Working"

My mom has an SGH-i747 (AT&T Galaxy S3), and the other day, the settings app turned into a little green Android, and if you tried clicking on it, it would say "Unfortunately, Settings Has Stopped Working". We tried uninstalling apps, and finally deleting all settings and data (after taking all...

Does the lack of LTE Bands on the Moto X Pure Edition bother you?

That has nothing to do with this thread, since AT&T has B17 spectrum in that area.

B2 is PCS, B3 is for global roaming. Both are usable on AT&T, obviously B3 would require a roaming package.

Does the lack of LTE Bands on the Moto X Pure Edition bother you?

Just to be clean, it would be 2/3/4/5/7/17, NOT B12. I think that's what you meant, but the quote suggests B12... As far as we know, the hardware doesn't have B12 support.

Does the lack of LTE Bands on the Moto X Pure Edition bother you?

Exactly. It never had B12 from the get-go. Since B12 is a superset of B17, I thought AT&T promised to stop using B17 in their phones and switch to using B12, but I guess that never happened... 2/4/5/17 is the standard domestic set for AT&T LTE phones, with 3 and 7 thrown in for global roaming...

Does the lack of LTE Bands on the Moto X Pure Edition bother you?

Check with AT&T's global roaming page, they show what bands they currently have deals for in what country, although those could change any day. Without LTE global roaming, you still should be able to use HSPA+ global roaming in any country that supports it, mostly through 850/1900 (parts of the...

Does the lack of LTE Bands on the Moto X Pure Edition bother you?

Well, if they don't deploy a 5x5 on B2, then you're still stuck with no LTE. That phone is just ill-suited to markets without B17. Yeah, considering that AT&T doesn't own B5 spectrum AT ALL in Akron, that should have been the first flag that something else was wrong! That's a B17 market, with...

Does the lack of LTE Bands on the Moto X Pure Edition bother you?

Yeah, they screwed something up. Sounds like your line isn't set up for an LTE phone at all right now. Once you get that fixed, it should work with any LTE phone...

Does the lack of LTE Bands on the Moto X Pure Edition bother you?

Shouldn't matter as long as your account is set up for an LTE phone. Mine is set up for an SGS III, and my iPhone 4s and Moto G both work fine on it.

Does the lack of LTE Bands on the Moto X Pure Edition bother you?

That's a B17 market. You should have no issues with any of the unlocked Moto X versions, or older AT&T phones that are 4/17 only. It varies by county, but in Wayne County, AT&T has B17 only, with what appears to be two 5x5 blocks that are contiguous, so they must be running a 10x10. Must be...

Does the lack of LTE Bands on the Moto X Pure Edition bother you?

Where in Michigan are you? If the B5 issue is stopping you from getting LTE, your HSPA+ coverage on the B5-less device should be nearly identical to the LTE coverage on an LTE device... EDIT: Use LTE discovery to show what band you are on with the N5.

Does the lack of LTE Bands on the Moto X Pure Edition bother you?

If you had actually read this thread or done some research on other sites, you would know that AT&T uses Band 5 in some rural areas in the United States. It could be used in other countries in the Western Hemisphere who use the 850/1900 system, I'm not sure if it actually is. But it's function...

Does the lack of LTE Bands on the Moto X Pure Edition bother you?

It's in AT&T's best interest to have the Pure Edition support all of their domestic LTE bands, plus, they make a crapload of money off of global roaming, so even more reason to have 3 and 7 working! Yes. It supports both B2 and B5 HSPA+, as well as B4, and 900/2100 for global roaming.
