Either you are only changing phones when you purchase a phone OR you don't swap phones often. There isn't a carrier out there that you wouldn't have issues with this. ESIM is not built for frequent multiple swaps between devices. It's for the average consumer that buys a phone and uses that one...
The hatred is for us who change phones frequently. This isn't an easy process unless it's once in a great while. 9 times out of 10 it cannot be done without the assist of support. It's horribly inconvenient. Like I said if you don't switch phones then you wouldn't get the hatred
If you did the setup by restoring a backup I'd try wiping and not restore and see if it still does it could be a hardware issue but could be something restored that is not playing well either. Just a suggestion
The problem isn't that when you do the swap the first time. The issue is doing the swap multiple times potentially in a month across multiple devices. It's the EID gets stuck in their system if you transfer your esim too many times. If you don't have multiple devices you wouldn't understand the...
I've tried the esim route with swapping and it just doesn't work well and you always have to get support involved to help with the swapping and sometimes it locks up on the process and support has trouble clearing things out of their system. Just isn't a friendly process for all parties
I haven't had an issue with my Gmail on any of my RAZR 2023+, 2024+ or 2025 ultra. So I'm not sure what his issue is. Also I don't have this issue on my pixel 9 pro fold.
So, I waited to see what Samsung was going to release with their Flip 7 and it's left me unimpressed. Ordered a Razr Ultra as I see it as the better device. Getting it for 799.99 with trading in my 2024 plus razr
Sorry but if you are done that great, your choice and go be happy. But I find no value in these types of threads.
Hope you find everything that you are looking for.
Pixel has changed the back camera. I'm not sure what your " year after year" comment is about.
You sure you are not looking for an excuse to jump?
Samsung now there is one that hasn't changed their design too much. Come to think of it apple hasn't really either.
