Running the T-Mobile version. I also forgot to add that the phone was bought used and I've had it for about 3 months only.

Just curious about what other people are getting in terms of battery life and SOT after upgrading to marshmallow. I have been getting 4-5 hours of SOT and my batter has consistently lasted throughout the day. I feel as though it has improved. What's your experience?

Do you have an SD card mounted on your phone?

My best advice would be to do a factory reset. That would help the apps to act normal. Also clear the cash partition by going into recovery mode (Google if you don't know how, I forgot).

So I factory reset my phone because It was acting up and after downloading all my apps back on I looked at the voice recorder and it now says not compatible with your device. I looked at the description and it said it only worked with android 6.0 phones such as the note 5, galaxy s6, galaxy s7...

Just wondering if anybody has seen changes in battery life after the marshmallow release.

Did you not download marshmallow over the air?

I just finished updating as well and am having the same problem. Edit: I tried clearing the memory and cache on it and tried updating it again. Still said it failed.

One thing I have noticed it that after booting up the device is that you can't use the finger print you have to put in your password the very first time. Also I keep getting a notification about updating google play services and when I click on it it takes me to the play store and all it says is...

Mine waited at the tmobile logo for a while but then it went to optimizing apps and what not for a while.

Yea. I've been opening apps and it seems more snappy and fluid. I haven't noticed any lag on my keyboard. Apps like settings open up faster and the multitasking key hasn't lagged for me yet. Pressing the home button seems to have a quick and fluid reaction.

Just got done installing it. Seems to be working well. Once everything got settled the device is very snappy. The new icons look nice. I'm debating on wetter or not to do a factory reset to make sure I don't run into any problems but for now I think I'll be fine.

Have you downloaded it? How is it. I'm almost done downloading it.
