I had the same issue as you after the October update on my P3. Did some digging around and found it might be related to TuneIn. Deleted it and it all went back to normal.

Do you happen to have the TuneIn radio app installed?

Try “forgetting” then re-pairing then.

With the cost of phones these days and the relatively iterative changes, I'm kinda done doing the yearly upgrade as well. As long as the software stays up to date, I'm good on a 2 year cycle.
