How Is Performance On The Moto X?

If theres one aspect of my Moto X ive never had an issue with is performance. Everything opens and moves very quickly. Ive used phones with higher specs that were laggier. So from a performance standpoint its perfect to me. Camera is slow and doesnt take the best pictures. Posted via Android...

Moto X: Color of your Choice

Re: Moto X: Color of ur Choice I went with a royal blue back, blue accents, and a white front. Not sure of any advantage/disadvantage but it looks cool. My gf has a teal back (with signature) and it lacks the soft touch coating and makes it slippery. Might be something to consider. Posted via...

Well good luck getting that to work, you would be the first. Posted via Android Central App

Moto X CDMA on GSM (@CNET)

CDMA phones can only use 2G/3G GSM and I believe it only works internationally. Doesnt matter if the hardware is there, the carriers have forced it to be that way. Posted via Android Central App

Which version of Android did you start with? Which version are you using today?

What's the one thing that Moto could add to make you buy a Moto X2?

A significantly better camera is really all i want. My old phone (HTC Amaze) took way better pics despite being 2 yrs older. Asking for SD card support is probably pointless but that would be nice too. Removable battery? FM radio and some more weather sensors. Posted via Android Central App

    Another reason to avoid Sprint

I dont know about their unlocking policy but customer service giving you the run around seems par for the course with them. Its the reason I switched to T-Mobile (and super slow data speeds). My GF switched too, canceled service with Sprint but they keep sending her bills. If I were you Id make...

Moto X vs Nexus 5 on Straight Talk

Re: Moto X vs Nexus 5 Straigh Talk Moto X doesnt have bloatware. UI is straight up Android and Motorola threw in a few useful features that you can turn off if you dont want them. Posted via Android Central App

How long can x remain usable with decent usage before battery life and lagginess make it unusable

Re: How long can x remain usable with decent usage... Well the Hero was always slow and only became usable after throwing a Gingerbread ROM on it. The Amaze didnt have this problem on the stock ROM only custom ones. On the other hand my Nexus 7 (2012) gets sluggish after a few months and the...

How long can x remain usable with decent usage before battery life and lagginess make it unusable

Re: How long can x remain usable with decent usage... I never had this problem with my previous Android phones (HTC Hero and HTC Amaze). No issues with my Moto X so far either and been using it since December. Ive only turned it off to update the software lol. Posted via Android Central App

An Android User's Open Letter to the iPhone

I dont understand why Apple doesnt make 3 models: iPhone classic with 3.5" screen meant to be entry level, standard iPhone with 4" screen, and iPhone XL with a 4.7-5.0" screen. Covers all the bases. Posted via Android Central App

The Moto X will be legendary

I would argue that the HTC Evo was the first big android phone to change the scene. First android phone to have a 4.3" screen and to have 4G (At the time it was very fast). Samsung didnt has a Galaxy phone yet. Posted via Android Central App

Google to sell Motorola Mobility to Lenovo for $2.91 billion

Re: Ouch, sorry Moto. I love my Moto X but i wouldnt blame people for giving it a second thought since the company was bought out by Lenovo. Im personally worried about getting updates. If they change the way Moto does things then i wont buy another phone from them either. Posted via Android...
