I actually had the opposite. My battery used to die within about 10 hours - now it will last close to 24. All since the Lollipop upgrade. The Samsung indexing app was killing my phone. They seemed to have fixed it. Just got 5.1 last night. We'll see if it stays fixed.

My Sprint Galaxy Note Edge just upgraded to Lollipop (Android 5.0.1) and I can no longer receive MMS pictures in Hangouts. They just keep showing up and won't download. I switched to Google Messenger and could see them, but I want to use Hangouts.

I got my update over the weekend. I like the notifications, BUT... MMS messages will not download in Hangouts. I did some searching, and found other people were having problems with MMS messages and Messenger, but their work-around was to move to Hangouts. So for now, I'm not getting any...
