How to keep notification silent mode to stick

I have a Sprint Note Edge. Ever since the Lollipop update, my notification settings won't stick. I work in an office and don't want audible notifications. I turn them off, but after a while they revert back to on. It is embarrassing to get the system default bleeps and boops during a meeting just to tell me that I have a new email or text message.

I do have an IFTTT script to mute my phone when I get to work (which sometimes works), and one to unmute my phone when I get home. Could this be turning the volume up and clearing my "silent" mode on notifications.

I would recommend doing the most recent update for sprint. It was originally posted on AC yesterday I believe. After the update do a FACTORY DATA RESET. It's a must when taking any lollipoop update I'd you ask me. I have a standard note 4 btw.
