    Proximity Sensor issues

Droid 1 > Droid X > HTC Tbolt > Galaxy Nexus > Galaxy S3 > Note 2 > One M7 > Galaxy S6 Don't remember if they all did it but I'm fairly sure they did and I know for certain my HTC one did.

    Proximity Sensor issues

Well the sensor definitely works on phone calls. Guessing that means its a bug. If that's the case you'd think other people have to have noticed this. I've never had a problem just laying any previous phone face down on a table or sliding it into my pocket and screen not inatantly going dark...

    Proximity Sensor issues

I've had the Verizon S6 for a couple of days now. Yesterday I happened to slide the phone into my pocket and noticed I could still see light from the screen. Since then I've played around with the phone by holding my fingers securely over the sensors to see if the screen deactivates and played...

    4.0.4 mic cutout

I did a factory reset yesterday and still had the issue during a call today. I may try a reset from the recovery menu method mentioned in the above link but I doubt it'll make a difference. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Android Central Forums

Is the phone worth getting now with the 4.0.4?

Maybe a call to Verizon and its something they can adjust on their end. I've also heard pulling the battery and sim for a few moments sometimes helps with issues. If nothing else a factory reset may fix it as we'll. If you've tried all that and nothing then I'd start worrying. I've always felt...

    4.0.4 mic cutout

Wondering if its even worth calling Verizon. Really don't want a refurbished phone that may end up with the same issue. Either its a hardware issue Samsung hasn't pinpointed or won't cop to, or its a software issue they can't seem to fix. It would be nice to know which is the case. Sent from my...

    4.0.4 mic cutout

Got my update this morning and I was psyched. The phone runs noticeably smoother and signal strength seems improved. Overall I was very happy. My wife is currently out of town and I called to check in with her earlier. While on the phone I mentioned the update and that it hopefully fixed all the...

    Verizon holding up our update

No sweat. I just wanted to make it clear what my intentions were. I also realize that the DL article is a little harsh and thats why I linked to the G+ post from the original source. Maybe I should edit the OP to make this more clear. Btw I love Android Central and in no way meant to bash or...

    Verizon holding up our update

I specifically stated that it was something we all knew already. This also is not another ZOMG WHEREZ OUR UPDATE thread. I was pointing out an interesting statement made by a well known Google Engineer about how ridiculous it was that operator interference is hindering Google flagship device updates

    Verizon holding up our update

Unfortuneately I think youve nailed it. The longer the Nexus remains updateless amd riddled with bugs the less appealing it is to customers. Meanwhile Veruzon's pride and joy Razr has recieved 3-4 updates since lainch and so runs fairly well. Now which option is going to appeal more to average...
