My S3 has recently begun going into airplane mode every few hours without a command or input from me. Any thoughts?

I upgraded to ICS and now whenever I get text messages or e-mails during a call I get the notification ringtones, which overpower the call and can be quite disruptive. Any thoughts on how to get these to be silent while on a call?

I use Handcent, and want to do two things with the stock messaging app. 1) How do I add a security lock to the stock app? 2) Can I remove the stock app from the quick launch bar or is it stuck there forever? Thanks.

I fouind another thread and it directed me to the all share app. I turning it on and I suddenly got connected. Wondering if this is making some sort of coflict? It has gotten me back on wifi at a Starbucks that was performing the same as at hoime. Hopefully it will work at home too.

I am having the same issues, beginning about 2 days after a hard reset of Froyo. I will try FXR, but have talked to Samsung and they say WiFi is a AT&T issue. Waiting for a response beyond a hard reset from AT&T.

Indeed, I tried the same with no result. I am hoping I don't have to do a fun reset. The signal is there, as my bluetooth still rings in the call, and it is visible on the screen, but even the vibrate is short and only one buzz before going ofline.

I recently updates to Froyo and the ringer no longer seems to work on my Samsung Captivate. I use Ringo Pro and no problem until today. A brief sound is made, but no vibration or sound. Any thoughts?

Older devices have this as a known issue from AT&T. Just talked to them as this is an issue with my 2 week old captivate. They are replacing it with a new phone from the proper stock. Call the support line and they can check the imie number to verify stock. If the IMIE last 4 digits are 5394...
