I had the same problem with it shutting down and trying to install the update. What I did was right when it booted up I did a factory reset as fast as a could and that fixed the automatic shut down. After the I renamed the OTA update file, so hopefully that solves the problem. apparently...

Anyone else having trouble with the screen automatically turning off while the phone is to their ear? Ever since I rooted and removed just the vzw bloatware, it doesn't seem to work unless I hit the standby button. It worked fine before the root. Looked for something in settings but no luck...

For some reason when I go into my messages it is saying I have unread messages when I don't. Even after I delete all messages it still says I have unread messages. Anyone else having this issue? The only thing I do is turn off my lte radio when I am not using it. Sent from my Thunderbolt using...

It just worries me cause I no its not the way its supposed to be, but the phone works perfectly fine once its finished loading. When it is on the clouds I can hit the power button 3 to 4 times and turn the screen off and on, after the 3rd or 4th it finally shows the locked screen.

Seems like the boot animation locks up for like a minute at the end and the screen is locked on the clouds for 30s to a minute. I am pretty sure this isn't normal since my D2 boots in half the time. Anyone else having this issue? Probably going to swap it out regardless, but thought I'd ask.
