My wife and I both have Note 4s. This problem happens on both of our phones but much more on hers. She tried a full reset but it did nothing to fix the issue. We were unaware of it possibly being linked to the fingerprint scanner but will try disabling it to see what happens.

It's Xwidget...once loaded and opened pre-made designs can be downloaded for free. I personally like it better than Zooper or UCCW.

Here's my most recent. Just switched from HTC One M7 to the Note 4 and there's no looking back.

Downloading now. Keeping my fingers crossed. I'm using the M7 on Sprint. *** so, almost an hour later and it's upgrading my apps. Make sure you have time before starting this process.

Re: Music player on lock screen all the time You can try disabling the lock screen altogether. I downloaded No Lock from the Play Store. It's a very simple on/off switch. There was a disclaimer that it won't work on all phones but it works perfectly on my Sprint One.
