I think I've figured out a pattern. When typing a text it vibrates for each character, after several characters the vibration stops. Then I turn the volumn down to vibrate and it doesnt vibrate. Odd.

I have the same two symptoms with my Vivid. Sometimes receiving double texts and then an incorrect timeline of texts. Another rather annoying quirk to add to my growing list. Thanks for posting.
