when making or answering phone , my screen goes blank . did a google search what to do to resolve , but nothing has worked so far . took the protective plastic off that came with the phone and did a couple of other setting change suggestions but nothing worked so far . any suggestions ? mike

i knocked mine off the table at a returaunt but luckily had my ballistics cover on it and nary scratch or ding and still functioning . mike

love mine , battery lasted 3 days before needing charge , of course i believe i am getting a little more adept at using smart phone now and i don't live on it . size takes a little getting used to coming from one of those un-smart ones . still overall price/value a+ for the google nexus 4 . mike

try wugfresh 1.6.3 . work your way thru driver guide and if you look it will back up your phone . read a lot before you do anything , take your time and all should be well . mike

still havent figured it out . tried different usb ports , computer sees nexus after reboot but program doesn't .was able to get driver test to work by not restarting computer after installing drivers . it went thru 2 times without errors . mike

that makes sense , it does say booting device normally but just sits . connect to different usb port ? i know its still connected to the computer as i get the nexus 4 folder pop up asking me what i want to do . mike

doing full driver test / step 3 /it fastboots restarts / and then reboots to normal . its at the normal boot , screen at home screen , but the program doesnt recognize the fact that it has rebooted and at that point im sure where you get the congrats screen. mike

i played on the phone and i did find the swipe , click on the mail icon ( green thing ) and then you just tell it who to send to . thanks for the replies , appreciate the help . mike
