The big images do add up. That's why I hate that they took away the microSD card. Is there any sort of mini USB storage that can plug into the phone to transfer files to? I'm thinking like a thumb drive but with the proper connector for the phone.

Ohhh ok. I didn't know it had a wide mode. I would just be worried that a 6.5mp image is going to be crappy quality. Does the Ultra model have the same thing with its 40mp front camera?

The official specs say the front camera is 10mp but a video reviewer says the default selfie view produces 6.5mp photos. How is this possible? Is he correct?

Yup, cleared Chrome cache & app data. I did install Avast Mobile Security although it didn't show anything in the scan.

Yes, it happened on both wifi & data...same message. But then I restarted in safe mode for a while and it didn't come up, so I went back to normal mode and surprisingly it has not come back since. I don't know what it could have been. I'll be watching to see if it comes back.

I've noticed that when I open the Google Photos app the photos I see do not match what's in my Camera folder on the phone. My camera folder only contains 2018 photos, previous years are on the SD card backed up in an archive. But Google Photos contains 2018, 2017, and a few (but not all) 2014...

Sure...they don't want to make it easy for us to turn off data...so we keep data on and run over our limit = more $$ for them! Thankfully, its part of the Android o/s so we can modify it and get it back.

I got it. It was not a simple button order. Apparently on the AT&T version they actually leave it out. I got it back by typing a command in the adb shell. So now I'm going to switch off "keep mobile data on". For today I'm at 48% remain after 11 hours including 2.5 hours screen on time.

Ok, I just looked at "improve accuracy" and Bluetooth was checked. I turned it off. Wifi scanning is on though along with high accuracy. How does wifi improve location accuracy? Under apps I can't see anymore what was active yesterday when I had the huge battery drain but today it does not...
