I've stuck with Boosted and have appreciated the more natural colors than in saturated mode.

might have been something wrong with Google services, weather and the news feed weren't working at all last night but this morning they both are.

I have made a decision! First of all I like to thank everyone for their input and experience on both devices. The choice was clear and I went with the Pixel 2 XL! Many factors went into my ultimate conclusion and the main ones were the camera, and the OTA updates from Google instead of waiting...
