Just got my Pixel 2 XL Today! After messing around with it I was wondering if there was a RAM management system built in or if y'all recommend a third party app? My LG V10 came with an app that I can monitor how much ram an open app was using and be able to force quit it if needed. Or is this something I shouldn't even have to worry about on this sweet phone ?

They phone manages it by itself. If you start screwing around with it it'll make the phone run worse, or shorten battery life. Ram management in android has been a non factor since probably kit Kat, or even ice cream sandwich.

RAM is managed rather well in Android, and it's not specific to the Pixel or any other phone. In short, free RAM is wasted RAM, and the OS is designed to keep it mostly full. The only time you'd want to force close something due to apparent RAM usage would be if you think an app is going rogue and are doing so specifically as a troubleshooting step. For a more detailed write up, this covered it rather well.
