    Wow, surprised you havent been helped yet. Best way to root a phone what doesn't have a specific tutorial is by rooting with Cydia Impactor. (Cydia Impactor) Download that, plug in your device and enable data connection then simply click start in this program!

    I ended up keeping backSIDE ROM with CM7.2, really like this one. In my opinion, Mirage SUCKED. But yeah to any newcomers, I HIGHLY suggest backSIDE IHO. But DO NOT FLASH GREEN MACHINE THEME.

    Definitely root man. Just make sure you know what youre doing before you flash roms or anything of that sort. Goodluck. Gingerbreak is a pretty good root.
