I froze just the SDM.APK and it seems to have worked. Anyone have any advice on the second part of my original post?

tried ROM Toolbox Lite work no success.

I am using the paid version of Titanium Backup as well. I found SDM 1.0, and I can freeze that. That is different from when I originally posted the thread, but still no luck with the FWUpdate.apk. Should I go ahead and Freeze SDM 1.0? I will also try ROM toolbox lite.

So I have my VZW galaxy S4 rooted. Yesterday my phone downloaded the OTA update (I don't know what OTA it was). I obviously want to skip this update to keep root. I am on Build Number JDQ39.I545VRUAME7. I tried to freeze FWUpgrade.apk and SDM.apk via Titanium Backup, but I couldn't find them in...

I am rooted on the stock rom and I do not see FWUpgrade.apk or SDM. apk in TiBu. I read elsewhere that OTA rootkeeper allows you to take this update (10/25/2013), and will keep root. Can anyone else confirm this?

I was forever rooted, got the update this morning. installed and still rooted.

Thanks, I am rooted again now. but I failed to back up all my apps and what not. Titanium backup worked, but for some odd reason now 2 months of my data on Acar is gone. I thought it was auto backing up every night and saving to the my sd card.:(

It says I do not have root access. should I run this one click again? thanks again.

OK, cache was already clear, and I cleared the data. opened TiBu and still the same error. I rebooted and still nothing. Thanks

So, I did this method and it said I am rooted again. I forget what the next step is. I tried to run Titanium, and it said it cant get root. I have super user installed and active, along with bionic bootstraper. what am I missing? and thank you specifically 2defmouze for your help on other...
