I'm using Google Fit too but just to track step count currently. So I've disabled high accuracy location mode within the app settings. It keeps nagging me to turn it back on though! This is what I ended up with at the end of the day.

I have also disabled the location permission for the Google app. I realised that I just didn't need any of the location based infirmation that it was giving me.

Mine is arriving in the next couple hours. As long as my mum answers the door and takes the delivery (I've warned her a parcel is coming) I'll be able to see my shiny new phone when I arrive back from work :)
