nelamvr6, thanks for the info. I previously used Android Message on my Nexus 6p but I never received any texts over wifi. I just tried sending a text with airplane mode enabled on my pixel xl2 and it immediately went through. Again, THANKS for the info!

It is just part of the software for Pixel XL 2 I was able to tough the brightness level and adjust the slide up or down.
