An Android notification.

Hi Bob, thanks for the response but what you posted is just a widget that displays the connected network and does not address my issue of giving notification when connecting to a specific network.

It's amazing there's no free apps that can do this simple task. I briefly looked into IFTTT but looks like it's iOS centric. Even so I'm not sure how to go about giving it a trigger for when a specific wifi network is connected or if it's possible.

Thanks for the reply, guys. As my handle might indicate I should add I'm looking for a free solution! I will look into the IFTTT solution but any further insight from others would also be greatly appreciated.
