IMO I just dont understand what sense it makes for Samsung to remove the option to enable the capture feature built into all their phones that came before this one, and your tip is good and all, but does not offer the same capabilities that the frame by frame arrows in the capture feature...

I didn't actually get rid of it, this was happening on my Galaxy S4, I have the note 3 now and have rooted and rom'd my phone, which give me the capability of changing app permissions, so I can decide what apps have access to and what they don't have access to

Samsung isnt gonna be able to tell you anything, i really think this is over their head, and your carrier is just gonna tell you it's a necessary app within the systems requirments, but nothing should have access the way that app does

If you look in your application manager you will find that same icon named Security update, and when it came up on my phone in my notification panel I long pressed it to check its permissions before updating it and I was severely disturbed by what this app could do, and the fact that I did not...
