Apart from the battery life, which sucks big time, and the annoying location smart lock, which is pretty much hit and miss, this phone is a beast. No lag whatsoever in 6 months.

Couldn't care less about iPhones. I look at myself spending 1k on a piece of garbage that needs a top up during the day, in order to get home with some juice.

I don't browse the Web, check and answer to some Tapatalk forums and check FB once or twice. No music, no YouTube, no pictures. Definitely not a business phone.

I leave home at 7.30 am. Everything activated, NFC, BT, 4G, WiFi. I make / receive around 75-80 calls for around 1, 1.5 hours. Receive and send around 50 emails, 50 Skype messages and 10 to 20 WhatsApps. I get home at 5pm, with around 2 hours screen on time and around 8 hrs of stand by. Usually...

Nope, mine is still lousy. Needs a top up around 4pm, otherwise I would get home at around 6 with 5% left or smth.

Back from the Samsung repari shop. Pen extracted, replaced, updated to Oreo.

Just don't use ordinary plastic when making it. My Note 8 pen broke after 4 months of use and half of it remained stucked in the phone.

Just received Oreo. Maybe it will solve the pen too...

The phone is going back for repairs tomorrow. It appears that, since I'm on a business line, I have some kind of urgent repair contract from my provider. It's supposed to only take 5 days. Will let you know what Samsung has to say about it.

I've disable security because I have to send it back to Samsung repair tomorrow. Noticed that in my case, disabling AOD and any kind of security pretty much adds a few hours to battery life. I think that the Iris scanner is to blame here, my guess is that it's always trying to scan something.

Mine does exactly the same. Anyway, Google made the feed a lot worse since they removed the option to swipe to dismiss the news.

Have no ideea. Someone told me that I should place some glue on the small part and insert it back in, leave it to adhere to the rest and pull it out. Samsung support told me that I should not try to pull it out by myself and send it to their shop for analyzing. Anybody had the same issue? I will...

Just happened this morning, when I tried to take out the S Pen from its craddle. Half of the darn **** remained inside, can't get it out. Flagship falling apart, lol. I'm waiting for Samsung to tell me that this is a well-thought feature. On a 1k euros piece of ****.
