Just happened this morning, when I tried to take out the S Pen from its craddle. Half of the darn **** remained inside, can't get it out. Flagship falling apart, lol.

I'm waiting for Samsung to tell me that this is a well-thought feature. On a 1k euros piece of ****.

Have no ideea. Someone told me that I should place some glue on the small part and insert it back in, leave it to adhere to the rest and pull it out. Samsung support told me that I should not try to pull it out by myself and send it to their shop for analyzing. Anybody had the same issue? I will be left without a phone for 2 wks or something.

The pen might have had a small crack in it and when you went to pull out the pen, it snapped.

I had an S Pen break on my old Note 5 when it popped out of the phone one day. They're only made of plastic for the most part.

Well then they should definitely think about a metallic pen for the N9.

Given how easily the Spen pops free from a slight drop, perhaps striking the phone against the palm of your hand will free the little sucker. I’d be reluctant to insert glue in pen cavity for fear it’d adhere to something undesirable and make matters worse.

Tried that, not working. Also tried to insert the small part back, hoping that it will somehow catch the part stuck in and remove it. Not working either. Samsung Romania just confirmed me that I have to send the whole package (Spen, phone, box, receipt) back to them and have it analyzed. Seems like it happened to other folks too, there are some videos on YouTube. But I'm the first one with this problem in Romania, according to Samsung.

Not a pleasent surprise, and definitely not something you would expect from the mother, father and holy spirit of the flagship phones, after paying 1.000euros for it. A bit disappointed right now.

Sorry to hear...

Straigten a paperclip and kink the end a tiny, tiny amount. Think about the size of that wee white pin in your photo.
Bend the other end in the same direction so you know which way the small kink is pointing.

You should be able to then insert that and jiggle it until you feel it slot into the hole in the stuck s-pen part.

Pull the paeprclip in the opposite direction of the bend so the sharp edge catches and you may get enough purchase to remove it.

You may even want to try with is straight first in case it's enough as that is a pretty small bore hole you are trying to get it into.

Alternatively a minescule amount of blutack on the end of the pin shown may provide enough purchase for removal

The phone is going back for repairs tomorrow. It appears that, since I'm on a business line, I have some kind of urgent repair contract from my provider. It's supposed to only take 5 days. Will let you know what Samsung has to say about it.

Mine broke too. Same place. Fixed it with a dab of Crazy Glue. The tricky part is making sure that the glue doesn't get in the area that the white tip moves in when you click the button. Just a small dab on either side.

Personally I'd use a cocktail stick, or a wooden skewer with a blob of superglue on the end, stick that into the hole and onto the remaining part, let it set and then carefully draw it out

They're not held in mega tight, so should come out easy enough

Yes, exact same here, even down to where it broke and how it broke. I shook the phone until enough came out I could grab a hold of and get it out.
