Turning phone off, removing SIM, turning phone back on, Insert SIM, this seems to have worked so far.

Did the app data/cache clear. Still issues. Switching to the Google phone app works fine however. Thanks for the replies..

Since the update today, my phone app keeps crashing. CallBGProvider is the culprit. Can't disable it or anything. Anyone else experiencing this?

Haven't noticed any difference as well. Possibly more directed at vulnerabilities.

I like the Google Phone App, because I can do searches for nearby places in my area. Which is very useful around here.

I still have this same issue. I did a factory reset, AT&T did some network resettings on my device, re-registered my device, and still nothing. Only thing that worked for me was to use the Google messaging app. I now get all messages from the contact.The other person's phone is android.

I have AT&T as my wireless carrier. Was wondering if anyone has experienced or has a solution for my issue. When using Samsung messages, I don't receive texts from one contact. But if I use the Google messaging app, I can receive their texts. I've made sure number isn't blocked. Cleared cache...
