@Castorshells bro, what happened after u receive the Error code 8507? do you still have gingerbread installed? or do you bring the echo to sprint's store & let them fix it for you?

U didn't un-rooted it first than conduct the upgrade process, do you?

It's funny, there is a post (a video actually) from Selpiche that showed an Echo still in Good Condition, even it tossed upside down to the floor several times.. well, s**t happens sometimes, there is a full set case (including screen, i guess) in E-bay.. I just look at it yesterday..

Since I'm not living in US, i guess the $8/month insurance will useless..I dont mind with the shipment fee, I'll pay for it, but I really need to know that someone on sprint would help me to repair my phone..

If I am living in US, I already drove to any sprint's store near me..if i sent the phone to sprint's, is it possible that they will replace it with new one / repair it? no worries for the shipment fee, it's all on me.. Any sprint's reps here??

Dear all, As i'm afraid of, the echo with 8507 error code can't be upgrade to gingerbread via OTA !! Looks like i have to stuck with this froyo s**t, and hope that there will be custom ROM which can be applied by recovery menu :( someday..

Dear all of you that received OTA Gingerbread, please confirmed that ur echo is rooted or not? if it's not rooted, is Z4root still works on it? Please advise..thanks ;)

Or use Opera Mini Browser, it can pinch to zoom..
