Hi B. Diddy, give the connection a good clean with compressed air, now charger works but only if I hold it firmly in place, same with plugging phone into laptop, have to hold it firmly in place

hi guys, son has given me his s9+ but when I plug it into my windows 10 home laptop it doesn't appear in my pc, also when I plug the charger in it is not charging, 'appears to be a fault with the phone charger connection', can anybody advise me on this please? all help and advice appreciated

thanks again B Diddy. son was on ee contract, got unlock code from samsung which is 15 digits long, phone asking for 12 digits, have asked for the phone to be returned so I can put my sim backin to see what happens

thanks B Diddy, eldest son gave it to me last year when he got a new phone, he had the phone unlocked before he gave it to me, no idea on when and where he got it but it was a contract phone

have just passed my samsung s7 phone to family member, before I give it I did a factory reset, when family member put new ee sim card in it is asking for an 8 digit code, where can I find this please, I only had a 4 digit pin set when I had it and it was on asda mobile payg. all help and advice...
