Do you guys know of any methods to flash/install custom ROMs easily and safely onto the Nexus 7?

1. Can you flash Custom ROMs with his toolkit? or is that not possible? 2. Is it safe to update the Nexus 7 even though I'm unlocked/rooted? 3. Does his toolkit already install TWRP recovery in the process?

It's actually 1.8 gigs but yeah I guess you could say 2 gigs. I actually just found out that TWRP is using 623 mb of space, and I think it's for my NANDroid backup.
