I looked on a few other forums. One person recommends uninstall the Shop Samsung app that came with your phone, and then download it from the Google Play Store. It worked for me!

I checked the Shop Samsung site for the $200 credit, and I scanned the IMEI on the box. It came back that I was NOT eligible.... Anyone having the same issue?

Not sure. They keep having me punch in the ##xxxxx # that puts the phone into activation, and rebooting the phone.

(Long story short) I just received my Note 9 yestersday w/ a new line. Not a problem. Then I tried to swap my devices, to get the Note onto my own phone number. The old phone is good already, and provisioned with the new line. The Note 9 tries to activate, but after roughly 3-4 minutes fails...
