Unlocked Sprint to AT&T software update

Re: Unlocked Sprint to AT&T software update Yea, as "helpful" as AT&T websites can be, that much was pretty well stated. I'm thinking I may need to just try a fresh restart (reset from settings, etc.), I'm not too keen on trying to flash anything.

Unlocked Sprint to AT&T software update

Yep, nothing with smart switch seems to be working for updating either.

Unlocked Sprint to AT&T software update

Bought a Galaxy S10 from Sprint when it first came out, recently got it paid off and unlocked it, then transferred to AT&T. The main question is, I haven't seen any major software updates since transferring. Model number: SM-G973U Latest security patch is sitting at September 1st, 2019 What...

    Anybody use messenger for texting?

I use Google messages for texts (meaning, I'm not expecting an answer right away), fb messenger for more real-time conversations, including video calls. My family and relatives all have a mix of iPhones and Android, but pretty much everyone has fb profile, and messenger.

[CLOSED] Android Central Photo Contest: Transportation! [Winners announced]

re: [CLOSED] Android Central Photo Contest: Transportation! Took a road trip a couple years ago, this was in Chicago. Still had a Note 3 at the time. One of my favorite pictures. Just basic cropping, no other editing. Edit: just realized this is in fact, no longer open....I can't seem to...

Does this battery usage look right?

It depends on usage, screen brightness, etc. I listen to podcasts almost continually throughout the day, download a bunch of videos, browse the web, and message via FB messenger. I rarely call or text, and in a typical light-heavy usage day from about 8am until 6pm I'll have about, 20% left...

Win a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge from Android Central! [International Contest!]

I would pick the S7; the edge doesn't seem to have the right "innovative" features for it to be enough of a draw. Plus, the S7 would be a huge upgrade from my G4.

Moto or Nexus? Why'd you get your Moto?

At least for me, price was the deciding factor. I've already had the moto maxx a couple years ago, so I like the way the pure does notification, and some of the gestures, like double-twist to open the camera, and chop twice to open the flashlight. The memory card was the other main reason I got...

    Low number of requirements

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it. LG definitely has more of a "name brand" recognition than the Martian.

    Low number of requirements

That's assuming the bluetooth device is "always on." So far, my misfit flash hasn't been able to do it with my phone; if it is actually capable of doing so, then I'd delete this thread or leave it be, as I would have my answer.

    Low number of requirements

I'm not really needing much in way of notifications and functionality. I'm on my phone more than anything, and am just looking for something that I can keep my phone unlocked. I use Android Pay, and I don't want it getting too easily accessed if I lose it/it get's stolen; so if anything, just a...

    Low number of requirements

Here are my 4 requirements for a smartwatch at this point: - low price - sleep tracking - watch for everyday use - largest point here: I need something I can keep my phone (Moto X pure) unlocked while it's connected to. As I haven't purchased any smartwatch before, I'm looking for suggestions...
