When I go to settings to check for a software update, i frequently get a "DM not ready, SIM Card not detected" error. if I close the software update screen and re enter it works fine. Never seen that one before, any ideas?

I am sure you have checked, but.... does the charger have the " adaptive fast charger" marking on it? I have several of the samsung ones and thats the only way i can tell them apart is by that marking on the plug.....

Personally, I reinstalled everything manually, i found that going into the play store and really evaluating what i had previously installed and deciding if it was a frequent use app really helped sort things out for my app use. For me, some apps performed duplicate functions in various ways...

to the above posters, you need to do a forum search, there are several tweaks that will help you, one of which is a factory reset , the others are services that need to be disabled and/or updated. Once you do that you will be much much happier with your phones battery life. I'm pushing 16 hours...

I haven't had issues either, brand new 64gb gold on ATT, I did however factory reset and update the push services as suggested before testing. Ran batt to 100 then left WiFi on all night and off charge. Moderate to heavy use today, showing great batt life! Been running all day today without WiFi...

Heads up, had some issues with a google play services error after update to 5.0, had to disable it and remove updates in app manager, then reboot and reinstall to clear them. Since then, no issues to report. Will test battery life later.

UPDATE: Just spoke with AT&T support, they have no idea whats going on ( surprise) they were not aware of any issues with the update at all, gave zero helpful solutions, and advised me to drive to the warranty center here locally to have them look at it. When I inquired about possibly getting...
