Thanks to both of you guys for your suggestions. I did some more digging and discovered that the CAMERA folder (and subfolders within) on the card are totally corrupted. All I can see in there is unreadable binary code. Even the folder name (s) are screwed up. Those are hundreds of pictures...

Well, not totally - I can read from it. All of a sudden, literally overnight, I can't write to it, delete or move anything or rename files on it. I now have an external 16 GB ROM card. I sure hope that some of you fine people have some suggestions for me. It's a 16 GB SanDisk MicroSD HC card...
