I spoke too soon! The phone will give a delayed charging notification after a sitting on the charger. However, it doesn't charge. Is this the "there's a new Note, so buy it, obsolescence plan"?

mystery solved! I recently picked up a Samsung led flip case. I found that if I restart the phone while in this case, wireless charging stops working. If I remove it from the case and restart, wireless charging works even if I put the phone back in the case. Sounds like Samsung inadvertently...

Yesterday wireless charging on my factory unlocked N8 stopped working! I've checked the advanced settings and the option for wireless charging is not there. I've tried a soft reset as was suggested in a post, but no change. I'm using the same chargers (Samsung and others) and same case.

I'm sorry to lose a couple of features that were on my ATT N4. I used to have a setting to have unviewed messages renotify me every 10 minutes. Also I'm not able to add a signature to texts.

As I spend my last few days with my N4, I'll try to remember the good times. It's no longer the high speed, super stable, machine with amazing battery life, that it was when I upgraded from my N2. It should have been retired last year, but then there was the N7 saga. So my N4 graciously agreed...

I rarely have this problem. I restart every morning and then again in the afternoon if performance starts degrading. My opinion is that it's past time to upgrade. I was about to grab a N7, but we all know that story. I'm hoping to keep my N4 going until the N8 is available.
