Can't believe the XL is $200 more than the regular and $50 more than the iPhone 8 plus...I think that's going to be a mistake in the long run.

I updated on Friday and so far battery life is pretty comparable.

I was going to wait but the rumors didn't seem that promising and when Google dropped the XL price by $200 I just decided to go for it. Wish it had front facing speakers, better water proofing and always on HDR but it is a good phone for the money. Wouldn't pay retail and def wouldn't for Pixel...

I received mine yesterday with overnight shipping. So far it's ok. Gets warm and notification volumes are low. Video recording audio may be low too. This coming from a Nexus 5x.

What color did you get? I ordered blue xl on the 11th and still hasn't shipped.

Thanks for the feedback. I know from a stand still like on a table it works well. But coming out of a pocket it can be hit or miss.

Thanks. So the pixel lights up the whole screen? On the Nexus it will show it in black and white until I actually touch the screen.

Android security patches are updated month to month so no worries there. And now you can install BB Hub on any Android device. Best of both worlds. With Marshmallow you can turn off access for different apps as well.

Just bought a nexus 5x due to much lower price and fingerprint sensor which Dtek does not offer. It has become a standard for security.
