    T-MOBILE Update today

Got the PC8 alert from Smart Switch when I was about to make a backup after leaving the thread, but it claimed my device doesn't have enough free space to install. Got it from the manual OTA check instead. Posted via the Android Central App

    T-MOBILE Update today

Does your version still end in PB8? If so, you're probably just getting the update that was released a couple of weeks ago. No idea what it did since it installed when I got my S7 a few days ago.

    Always On Display problem

By any chance did you install a theme? Some themes on the S7 have customized AOD settings. If you changed themes, switch back to the default and see if that helps. On the other hand, try a free theme with a custom AOD and see if the color/design changes to see if maybe there's a deeper issue...

Facebook video uploads, why don't they always render in HD?

Re: Facebook video uploads Android has the option to upload in HD. Not sure how well it works since I barely share videos. Posted via the Android Central App

Galaxy S7 External speakers play sound while earbuds are plugged in, how can I stop this?

Re: Galaxy s7 External speakers play sound while earbuds are plugged in If you're coming from a different brand, you'll see this as a bug. Samsung Galaxy phones have been this way for a few versions. It's annoying but we've come to terms with it. Posted via the Android Central App

Lookout Security killing my battery after update?

It started with MJA and continued into MK2 with only the Sprint S4 known to have had issue when I was in contact with a rep. Lookout was puzzled as to what Sprint did that upset their software. I just hope that either one of their later software updates or Kit Kat itself fixed the issue. A...

    locked screen

If you haven't figured it out by now, you drag it out just like the Lock. If you want to remove/change it, that can be done in the Lock Screen settings.

Lookout Security killing my battery after update?

I haven't had this problem in a few Lookout versions. They were aware of the issue and attempting to fix it. If you still have this problem with 4.4.2 and their latest version (8.34.1), let them know. I've been running for over a month without a Lookout spike.

Boot recovery. No command then error

    1) Once your Knox is void, there's no going back. The only way out is to buy a new phone. You tripped it when you flashed a custom recovery. 2) Upgrades on the S4 are "One Way" only because of the bootloader that's updated with each update. Attempts to downgrade will break the software or soft...

Sprint Galaxy S4: Anyone still not get KitKat?

Re: Anyone still not get kitkat? They won't stop offering the update. That's the day it should be provisioned to all numbers. At this point you might as well just sideload it or install the official NAE rom (doesn't wipe data).

    Sprint Galaxy S4: KitKat

Re: KitKat Agreed, the setup and file size are not right. BattleShip must not have a Sprint S4. And for those who don't know, SamMobile has the full NAE tar for download now.

stuck on sprint yellow screen after rooting and changing some files for wifi

You have to use Odin to put the ROM back in order for your software version/carrier. The necessary files and instructions can be found on XDA.

Do you conserve your battery power?

I get 10-25 hours easily per charge. The low end days are usually when I've got elevator duty at work so the phone eats up juice playing games/movies while trying to maintain a cell/wifi signal in an arena elevator with the doors closed for 5+ hours. My average day is about 18 hours. And no, I...

Is it good to browse while charging??(Galaxy S4)

That's a double-edged answer, but neither is too detrimental. Side A) Browsing and other small tasks that do not stress your phone are completely fine while charging. High end games/apps that may cause your phone to get warm should be avoided while charging if possible. Not bad, but not...
