It's now working but I tried that before and it didn't work. I haven't changed anything in a few months so one of the updates must have fixed it but just happy it's working properly with the official UI 8 update due shortly.

Hmm, kind of like a bootleg Windows recycle bin. I suppose that's a decent workaround if push comes to shove. But I'll stick with Nova while it's still viable until I can fix Home or at least figure out why it's behaving this way.

It's any icon on any page. It's as if editing has been locked to prevent accidentally deleting or moving stuff around but I never set anything like that nor can I find a setting to toggle off.

I do use Good Lock; the only module use is Navstar to provide the gesture navigation bar. Maybe that is mucking something up?

Thanks, but I did it exactly the way he did in the video; I didn't just delete the app. The S9 and S24 are six iterations of Android apart so that's probably not a good comparison as far as expected behavior.

The actual photos come out fine, it just doesn't acquire focus automatically as easily as my S22U. I can tap the screen and it will focus quickly, it's just different, inferior performance from my previous phones. I've attached the photo with proper focus, no flash.
