For some reason tge text in Chrome for my Google searches have switched to this terrible color scheme of brown/beige. Funny thing is it only does it for one account (my main one) and the others show normal with the white/gray text and blue/purple links. I didn't mess with any settings but I must have done something. Has anyone seen this before?

Tried switching to a basic but it's the same. The funny thing is when it first loads the page the colors are normal for an instant then it shifts to the brown theme.

It must be in an app or setting I accidentally changed but I have no clue where else to check. I'm wondering if it's something in the latest one UI update. This is super irritating.

I don't use Chrome, so this is just a shot in the dark.

It looks like an eye comfort shield that blocks the blue light. Do you have any Chrome eye protection extensions installed or maybe some night mode dark theme setting? Again, I'm not familiar with Chrome, it just looks like a blue light filter is on.

That being said, It is odd that it only happens on one of your accounts.

Hope you get it resolved soon. 🤞

I turned off all accesssability options and set all Chrome flags to default. I never changed anything but that doesn't rule out accidentally tapping something when flipping through menus.

One thing I did think of is that the one account in question is the one that has a Google One subscription because I ran out of storage. I've had this Google account since '04 when it was just Gmail and you needed an invitation to sign up and I'm a bit of a hoarder lol.

Wouldn't put it past Google that this brown tone is supposed to be "gold" so that it stands out against basic accounts. Too bad it's awful.
