Within this thread are revised settings that will enable you to tether with tmobile. I've been using the same method for 5 months and haven't had any issues. BTW what plan are you using with T-Mobile? The only true unlimited plan is at least $80, right? Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk

You've used 40gb? Do you have some type of unlimited data plan? When I tether my iPad to my Moto X it never registers under tethering data. I have no clue as to why it doesn't register. Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk

Re: Third party SMS apps and Driving Mode? I've noticed this too and I use Textra. The replies I sent appear on the stock android texting app. It's annoying but I do not prefer the stock app enough to switch back.

I am on an unlocked moto x on a t mobile prepaid plan. I have no problem using google wallet for tap n pay. I have found that less places are accepting it. 7-eleven no longer accepts contactless payments. Only place I use it at is McDonalds or CVS. I have had the best luck using my Loop Fob...

I have it mainly to see who is calling when I'm out of the house. I've tried to answer the call but the people can not hear me at all. I even tried an outgoing call with similar results. Even on the strongest wifi, the recipient of the call can not hear me.

I seriously doubt they will invest in the infrastructure due to the low population. Tmobile is great in highly populated areas. Verizon has the best coverage overall and that's why you pay top dollar for their coverage. Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk

I understand completely. Everyone has different priorities. Another important decision in choosing a carrier is their footprint in the area you'll be using the phone. I used to have a house in the Poconos and the only carrier that worked there was Nextel! My Verizon phone was non functional...

I noticed the same behavior on my Moto x. I use timely for all my alarms and the icon stays put in the notifications bar.
