For the money the 549.00 is a no brainer. Reminds me of the Nexus 6P another great phone when it came out!

The base model should have 6gb's & 128gb's of storage. This is late 2018 & I expected better specs. Plus the notch is a no go for me. And raising the price 150.00 dollars is definitely a considerable hike!

Samsung pay isn't just a convenience it works everywhere. I have never had a problem with using it anywhere. It is by far the absolute best, plain & simple!

I really like the XL, but that notch is a definite deal breaker for me. Especially when viewing video's in landscape mode. This is a very poor design choice. You have finally improved you display but this notch business runs a very nice display, Google what were you thinking?

I use the s8+, it's been the best phone I've ever used. My #1 priority is the display. They are the absolute best. I went to Verizon and played with the note9 for 1hour. It's humongous to say the least. I actually loved it but it's just to big for my needs. I feel the 9+ would be the better...

I haven't read anything about the release of the s9active. I'm pretty sure again, it will be an exclusive which by the way really sucks. I wish they would stop doing this. The flat display & 4000mamp are very nice features. If Verizon carried this model I would purchase in a blink!

Due to the fact they use gorilla glass 5 I have no need for screen protector's. The solution for myself are wallet cases which I own 3 of them. No marks on any of my displays with 3 previous s series phones!

I had pre-ordered the s9+ and canceled it. My s8+ has been a stunning performer since day one. The only upgrade I will consider will be the note9 if it has the proposed larger battery. I'm a true battery nut!

For myself I do not use a screen protector. My solution is a wallet case for protection. Especially because they use gorilla glass five. My s6edge, s7edge& now my s8+. No problems with any kind of marks whatsoever!

I used the s7edge for 18 months now the the s8+. The reception on both worked very well, never had a problem with either!

I believe the exynos cannot be used on CDMA networks. So Verizon & Sprint are out in the cold!

With my s8+ I use a wallet case a Zover. Never use a screen protector. Works very well no Mark's whatsoever with Gorilla glass5!
