You might look at Messenger as well. Messenger is a destroyer. Chat heads and notifications especially. My wife uses it and gets by on he Maxx but when I tried it my battery life was dismal.

Wish I had known about Camera FV-5 before paying for Camera Zoom FX. I'm really not interested in all the effects. FV-5 looks, to me, how a camera should look! If it works better than the onboard camera software I may just have to buy another camera app!

The contacts and groups come from google contacts. google.com/contacts will let you manage them, including renaming groups.

+1 on the Camera Zoom FX. It seems to do a better job for me but I don't take a lot of pictures with my phone so, my experience is limited. Camera 360 is also supposed to be a good alternative.

Could be the phone is only looking at the internal storage for tones or, the tones are in the incorrect directory. You may try copying them from the external card to the internal in the Ringtones directory. I'm not certain if it will look at the external card for ringtones, alarms, etc. I...

If you travel a lot or are away from a charger for long periods the MAXX may be for you. Personally I could have gone with the HD and done just fine as I'm near a charger most of the day. I do have the MAXX HD though, and as it is I don't have to use the charger and typically have around %60...

Noticed the same. I was able to got to accounts in the settings menu and add an Amazon account. That allowed the App Store to run and apps from the App Store to function. Worth a shot.
