Sorted (again). For some (strange?) reason, when I send a text to myself (for testing) there is no sound, but when others send texts the sound works fine.

So the new G4 arrived today. All is well, apart from no sound on SMS messages. I've tried most of the ringtones/notifications but no sound alert, although it does vibrate. Any suggestions please ?

Thanks Rukbat. The problem is now solved as the phone is on it's way back to the supplier and a replacement on it's way. Amazoning !

Sorted. After connecting the G4 to PC, scroll down notifications and select USB menu. Then select transfer files to Windows. The files on the G$ will be shown on the PC and it's a simple matter to put your chosen ringtones, into, would you believe "ringtones". And assist is now called "Do not...
