The answer is no - beats will not work with a bluetooth headphone. Seriously, beats is so horrible of an implement that Dr. Dre has permanently tarnished his image in the most negative way.

Never had an issue with scratches either - always keep in pocket and never used a plastic cover. Biggest thing is to ensure nothing else is in your pocket, particularly not any keys.
