I'd not had any problems with the upgrade so far and actually have seen a dramatic improvement in battery life.

My 2XL will not connect sometimes when waking up from sleep, both at home and the job. I have to turn Wifi off and on in order for it to connect again.

Cell signal has remained unchanged for me, on Verizon. I am noticing constant Wifi drops at home and work. After my phone has been idle for a while, say 10 - 15 minutes, I'll unlock and its off Wifi. I have to manually connect. Happens also at work.

I tried it for a few mknutes yesterday, didnt like it so went back to 3 button. just have to retrain myself and gwt rid of the muscle memory. I will give it a go again this weekend

I've started to finally get some burn in on my Note 8 screen, thanks to long road trips and running Waze on the highways. Its not too bad, but its prompted me to start considering a replacement. I'll wait for hands on reviews of the Note 10, and check it out in person when its released...

Woke up to see the December uodate ready for install on my 2 XL. On Verizon

My 2XL does everything I need it tondo, and quite well. Unless this thing gwts damaged beyond repair or stolen, I dont feel a need to upgrade. And honestly, I would probably get another 2XL if something did happen to it.

Agree with pretty much everything you've said. I have both devices - Note 8 for work, Pixel 2 XL for personal use. I think both devices are great in what they offer, but the addition of MicroSD card expansion, Iris scanner, and a real winner for me - wireless charging, takes the Note 8 over...

A bit of the same, but my addiction seems to be laptops. I have a mix of Windows, macOS, Ubuntu, and Linux Mint on several systems. A coue of weeks ago I even bought a Samsung Chromebook Plus because I had some Best Buy gift cards and it was $100 off.
