I've done it with T-Mobile & Sprint SIMs so I don't see why your case wouldn't work. I've heard some people had issues new SIMs when this phone first came out, but otherwise i think you should be good to go. Posted via the Android Central App on my MXPE

The stock contacts app does this, at least for individual contacts. Tai the pencil to edit, then hit the 3 dot overflow menu and select "set ringtone". Posted via the Android Central App on my MXPE

There's also an option in Developer Options to always keep cellular data active. Make sure to check that as well. Posted via the Android Central App on my MXPE

I think I'm more interested in the 5x, but the 6p seems like a solid device as well. We'll find something to complain about on either though...

Check settings->Tap & pay and make sure that you have it set to use your default payment app unless another payment app is open. I believe the default setting here is to use Android Pay regardless of what you have running.
