I want to use the screen pattern to secure my phone, but think the stock wipe down unlock before getting there is a nuisance.. is there an app or something to turn the original unlock off or bypass it ..??

The best option to get away from a very disappointing experience with a Verizon Fascinate global... This phone has great battery life, and is very reliable..!!

My guess...(key word guess here...) is that you have another computer connecting to your Gmail account, and it is set to delete emails after they are downloaded (other option 'leave on server'..).... and that you have your phone set to sync deleted emails with the server... Possible..??

Is there a way to remove or disable the standard lock screen if you want to use the optional pattern lock... on my previous phone it was automatic... if you created an unlock pattern, the default slider went away..???

I experienced exactly the same issues with the stock email program on my wife's phone (stock..OTA Froyo) but it worked well on my rooted super clean phone..?? so on advise for this forum, I switched to K-9 mail, and now both phones get all mail on a regular basis, good luck..

Like JOrtenzi, I have only used Odin, but last night I updated using CWM to SFC_2.9nv... and to get there, I ran the Odin version of "cwm-recovery-ALL" to get to the RED CWM, and then CWM'ed to get to 2.9... and all seemed to work GREAT...BUT... now when I check the folders on my SD card, I see...

I'm still a NuBe here... but I think you should use the phones SD card format function... NOT Windows... That may clear up you problem. DJ

I got to RED CWM, and selected the SD Card zip to apply, then I get: Installing: SDCARD: Super_frankenclean_2_9_nv.zip Opening update package.... Installing update.... But the it just sits there, and nothing else happens???? I've waited over 15 minutes... What now? DJ

I'm syncing my Fascinate with my Mac (OS X-10.6..) by using the app.. "Missing Sync" which works just great!!! Syncs my address book, iCal, iMusic, iPhoto and so on.. without any problems... What's the big deal..??!!
