This is very helpful. Since I have been reading that Google is in the process of a new photo app, maybe this will be addressed. Seems like this is something that users other then myself are experiencing as well.

You really can't go wrong with either one. I have owned both but tend to favor the UAG just a little more. Have used that on my last 3 phones and plan on getting one for my Pixel 8 Pro as well

Not a good thing that you have experienced it too, but at the same I know that I am not alone with this. As I said it only happens with photos that I took with the 8 pro. All of my other photos on the phone are totally fine. Even so, it doesn't happen to all of the new pics that I take. Trying...

Plus most phones usually improve over the months with updates etc. My first generation Pixel took over a year before I was able to even get a signal inside of my place. I know that is unacceptable, but I had put so much faith into liking it as frustrated as I was, I decided to hang on to it

I went with the regular S21 coming from a Pixel 4. While I do enjoy some things that Samsung offers, I will probably go back to the Pixel line when it is released if it is everything that it is being cracked up to be. First time Samsung owner here so really cant compare to the earlier versions...

You're right but you have to keep in mind ios is the only thing that runs on Apple products. Google has many variants they have to deal with to accommodate all the cheap phones that are not or can not run the latest. Once Fuschia is readily available to run on all phones hopefully it will...
