I looked at all sync settings. Seems like I might have to replace it for ?60 from the insurance (Geeksquad) or reflash it from Samsung I don't know which one is better. I have already posted a reply but it didn't submit for some reason. Much help would be appreciated thanks.

I used adapt as well and my expensive headphones are broken now, only one side is working. I can't guarantee that adapt was at fault but I always noticed there was a crackling sound between the ending and beginning of the songs.

I have tried to cut down on syncing apps but still no use and my phone is not rooted (I don't see the benefits for me doing it). I think I may have to choose 2 options, the first one being I take it to Geeksquad (My insurance) and have my phone replaced for ?60 or go to Samusng customer service...

Hi guys, I have already posted another thread about my battery consumption issues and I recently figured out that my wakelocks are on just as much as the phone is on. I am good with software but I'm not very bright. So hopefully with the help of this community I will be able to solve this...

Ok so I reset default the phone and ill keep you guys updated on my battery stats.

Ok so I found out that after I woke up the android kernel was awake for 5 out of 6 hours. Is it natural to do that? Also the Google play services was only awake for 15 minutes but it took a lot of power going up third on the list.

Actually the battery life went better after the update. It was only recently this all started to occur. Factory reset will definitely be the very last thing I do as it takes a lot of effort getting things back to where they were

Sorry for the late reply I'm still new to the forum things. Something is making my phone work really hard as it is hot the majority of the time. I will try the app dont I have a sense that I just have to send it to my insurance as its getting ridiculous. The battery is now lasting 5 hours

I had my S4 since launch and the battery life was amazing. It could last 1 day and a half with little use but now it could hardly last 14 hours. I don't know what is going in as the culprit is Android OS, Device idle, Whatsapp and Google Services. How can I change my settings in order to get...
